This site did not audit Tudum. Runtime of 117 minutes is the figure on the Wikipedia page. A small Rotten Tomatoes sample cited there is not treated as a verdict.

Devashish Makhija directed the film. Kanika Dhillon wrote it and produced it, under the banner Kathha Pictures, which is how the credits are listed. Netflix is the distributor. Week two is the spike people are still quoting. Hungama and UNI put views at 9.6 million. Hungama called the jump more than 60 percent week on week and said the film moved to number one on the global non-English film chart. UNI added 18.7 million watch hours for that week and called it the highest weekly viewership for an Indian Netflix Original film on the data Netflix had published. UNI’s country note for that week: number one in 17 countries, top 10 in 58. Those country counts are a reach claim from that report. They will not match a screenshot from a different Friday.

Siasat’s 23 September piece extends the story by a week: 3.4 million views in week three, 18.9 million across three weeks, three consecutive weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10 for non-English films, and a top-10 trend in 30 countries in the latest week. It also compares the three-week total with other Indian titles’ three-week figures, including Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Jaane Jaan, Do Patti and Darlings. Those comparisons are only as good as the historical numbers the article cites. This page does not re-audit 2023 and 2024 charts. If you repeat the 18.9 million figure, say it is a three-week cumulative reported on 23 September, not “views yesterday”.

Views are not box office

A Netflix view, as the platform publishes it in these weekly posts, is not a ticket and not a unique human you can count by city. It is not a crore figure. Posts that convert 9.6 million views into a rupee “collection” are doing arithmetic the streamer did not publish. Leave the conversion out. The chart position is the claim. The rupee line is fan math.

Why India specifically is searching it now

A 3 September premiere can trend twice: once on opening weekend, and again when the second-week chart contradicts the assumption that streaming titles only fall. Gandhari’s reported path was the second kind. The global number-one line travelled through Indian entertainment desks on 16 September. The three-week total travelled again around 23 September.
